In Mexico the situation is kind of different, the truth is that is does exist the “nini’s” people but is not as much as the quantity that exist in USA, because the young folks have realized about the important that is to have a career and even another plus with their education to be the competitive enough to get a good job or at least one.
Many joung people in the worl begin their studies at a university in order to have a beter degree for the future, to give a better services and be more prepared to face the obstacles in their lifes. But, is it a guarantee to have a bachelous degree, a master and so on.
United States of America have some of the best univesities worldwide, but there are statistics that say the oppositive according the succeed in profesional life. At the begining it is difficult of course for student to find a job related to their degree, there are 5 unemployed americans for each job opening, this is a fact that graduated students hate because many of them are in dept with university, what was a dream for them, then turns in a nigthmare for this genaration; the average debt at college graduation is $24,000 and this amount is increasing 6% a year since 2003, furthermore for every student that can finish college there is another one who have to leave because finacial barriers were too much for them. In order to solve this situation there are two main sistems to help students finish their carreer, the first one is to have universities were the average fees can be affored for most families of middleclass, there is also a program of grants which make more affordable the studies at university.
In Mexico statistics says that a minority of students finish university, however there is a lack of job opportunities, it is too difficult to get a job linked to the students profession, consequently students don´t want to study in universities because of the crisis of job opportunities. On the other hand finish college or get a degree is so much easier economically speaking in Mexico than in USA. Furthermore, the more important is to generate adecuated jobs to unevesity graduated as well as create an economical sistem where every citizen can be graduated of college, so in the future the country have a great growth, economically, financially and with more jobs for everyone.
A lot of young people think in study the university to get better oportunities for a bob or in their lifes. there are a lot of problems, it will be different with a better education high school.. another problem is that sometimes they dont have oportinities when they finish the school, the video says that there are 5 unemplayed americans for each hob opening and it brokes the dreams of the studens. Also other problem is: for every student thar can finish the school the is an other one who have to leave because is expensive for them, although US has programs for this type of problems i think that the goverment must to create more flexible programs also for the immigrants. IN MEXICO we have this problem and other more, the video says something about the public and privaty school, in MEXICO that is a big problem because there are privaty schools and they have a good program and a good level of education but in the other hand there are so BAD public schools principally high schools and universities,it will be different if the goverment invest more in education and also if the goverment makes a better job oportunities the country will change in a good way :)
