WOW! I'd like this video very much!
Many people consume a lot of water everyday, but in the majority of cases, they dont think about all the problems that poor countries have to deal with the water. I know that anyone drank that dirty water, but this project was so succesful because all the people said that it was disgunsting, but that water go to poor countries and all it's poblation drink that water even that it's so dirty and bring so many diseases to people.
So, think about this: If you buy a bottle of dirty waterfor only 1$, you contribuate with one full day of clean water to poor countries.

It's a good idea to promot a lof products, and it was bery certain to do that for donating. Also people could take some responsability to do better things and take care about our planet.
Mostly times people don't donate because they don't know where their money is going to stop or in hands of who. There's a lot of programs to ask for money that people don't trust. In this case were people to explaning what for was the donation.

    This video is very good
It's very cool the way that they make understand people that there are a lot of people in others countrys that can't drink clean water to difference of other campaigns this is diffent they show us the problem in a different perspective and like this is new call more the attention of people also I think that is a little funny that some persons be in the street and selling dirty water and perhap this action caused more interest to help.

    This video is nice!
It's a good idea to conduct such campaigns in some places for donations with water machines, poor people can have clean water in their homes so they can do different activities as water is necessary in everyday life .
Today there are people who waste a lot of water and do not realize the planet earth care, so it is a pleasant news that want to implement such projects so that people are generous and want to contribute to collaborate with a bottle dirty water for people who need clean water reaches them.
Commonly there are people who do not cooperate because they have no confidence that the money is to meet for the cause of the campaign and may lose money.
So it's good to help with this cause to help the poor people who do not even have water to drink.

  5. wow!
A really funny, interesting, real, and amazing video!
Is too awsome how the people live without know what is happening around the world, how many people die and suffer... the conditions where live them. I liked this video for a simply reason, I forget those people too, and I am worried for things without importance the most of time, while those people and mainly children dying for the unawareness of us.
More that information that this video show us, is like a awareness' bomb, saying... think about other people, think in their necessities, you are not the only in the world!!
This campaing is perfect for think no only in those children, in all the terrible things that happen in all the world, war, natural disasters, poor people, desnutrition, and a lot of things more!
UNICEF is an organisation with responsability and dedication, working for them and with a only aim, make the people take awareness of this situations, so my last comment is about us, we should spend the money in necesary things, less luxuries more help for the people who need it :)

love, respect, help, service, awareness, nice people.. that is what world need...

I do not know If I wrote all the words that you asked but I really tried O: hahahaha :D

    greetings!

  6. hi teacher
i liked this video so much i have never seen this video before, and i didnt hear abaout this campaing i think that the publicity was successful because it was a impact in the society and of course it is different this is the main reason
the people saw the publicity in front of the face in the streets not only in a tv comercial, like the others campaing and if i were they, i would do it in others contrys and i would invited some famous persons to show the campaing the people likes the famous persons and its all that i think

    Dirty water vending machines.

This campaign was actually successful because it addresses a huge problem on counties which are still in developement, the trouble of dirty water, they don't have clean water as we have. so UNICEF have decided to create a good campaign, making "dirty water vending machines" and sell its dirty bottles of water in New York, nobody drank these dirty waters but helped by donate one, two ... or more dollars, so one child could have 40 days of clean water for just one dollar that somebody donate.
This campaign was effective because, first of all, it was made on one of the most populated cities in the world, second, in the country with more money, and third, it touches people, it moves them to do something and coperate, its something easy for many people, if they don't have cash, they send a message on their phones to coperate, and they don't need to give a huge amount of money, with little money each, and together they gave a good hand for those childs without clen water to drink.
If I were them, maybe I would do the same campaign, but in other big cities for many days, so I would get more money for the issue.

This Campain was effective because, the all the people in the video doesn't want to drink "dirty water", so for that reason, the people when saw that machine and watch the product, they ask to the people and asking why are the cause of they are selling "dirty water", after that the people buy a bottle for help to the people with they "donnation".
i think this video was effective, but at the end of the video, the last 2 girls, say estupid things like "if i drink this water i could be skinny?", so means some people haven't a common sense and think in that way.
what i done differently?. i think the only think i was did differently, its the way from how to be solded, the machine only was to for harvest money to donate.

  9. teacher! guess what? i have an account ;) jaja i really love the video 'cause the video shows the reality, every day in poor countries people die and the reason is dirty water, this campaign was successfull and i love it because people of NY could help with only one dollar they bought a bottle of dirty water, i think if this campaign will be in other cities for example here in mexico the problematic won't exist in a short time because i know that exist people to like to help..
The machine is very nice because we use the water in everything, we drink we clean we do a lot of things with water but we dont know how poor people do that and the machine shows us a big problem that exist and it shouldnt exist!!

  10. Hello teacher! Well.. I really like this video because it shows the real things in poor countries, I think this is a very nice and interesting compaign that help us to understand people need our help I think is really nice to do this thing, I preffer this compaign will be not Only in New York if not in other countries, for example here, I think we need todo asimilate people have more problems than us and may be we don't Know. I really like this video, may be in this country we can help more than others but is best to put this thing to help in other. I think that the most important thing is the water in our lives, people le live whithout this so, we need to do here in our city.

  11. The campaign was notorious because we made social conscience about this serious issue problem that affects a millions of people and children around the globe, I would say right now it's a beggining project that UNICEF is developing in the media, social networks, radio, spots and many more, to make and effort and think about people who lives in poor conditions that can't be satisfy their needs.
But I think it's going to be successful with all the money donated in different places around the world and I hope the political parties make conscience in their respectives countries instead of personal interest
What would I had done differently?
Well maybe I would started in my own community with meetings supported by smaller activist groups.

  12. why was the campaign succesful?
I think yes, because when peoplelooks the dirty water in bottle it is a shock
and help us to create awarnesss about people arround the world that drinks this kind of water with the posssible sicks, mostly for childrens.every $1 dollar donated means 1 day of clean water for 40 childrens.
    was it effective?
looks effective the campaign, but it could be more successful arround the world in my opinion. it really works!.

what would you had done differently?
maybe a bigger campaign,to ask the people what are they think about the proyect and to try to abroad .
help to be awarness of the quality of water and be carefully with the waste

    * Was it effective? yes, a lot of people donated money to help them to bring clean watter to the people
    * What would you had done differently?i think it was perfect....just mybe they could put more water machines all over the cutty and not just there, in all cities and maybe if they put this on tv they could ask for help there with text messages too

  14. i think is interesting that campain of Dirty Water. The people was seeing as not all people have clean water and have to live with dirty water or without water, such as the machine showed like the people live in pour contries. thes is fun and safe way to donate to children who do not have clean water, the machine is in a strategic place in a big city that makes it effective participation and donation of the people who with only one dollar or just send a message tex help a child with 40 days of clean water.
i think we should have made other kind of campaing in our contry, I woul had done differenty, started little by little showed the people the importance of the water in our life.
